Our SUMAC tincture is wild-harvested sumac from the Hudson Valley. It is tinctured for 6-8 weeks in organic vodka. We've added organic cinnamon with hints of orange and grapefruit zest for flavor and as a compliment to sumac's astringent and healing properties. Research shows that sumac is high in vitamin C and is used to regulate blood sugar and tonify the body, especially the reproductive system. SUMAC is also anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Tinctures may be added to tea or absorbed sublingually, with a dropper full under the tongue. If taken sublingually, leave the tincture under the tongue for a few seconds before swallowing. SUMAC IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES TO CASHEWS OR MANGOS.
